Insight out

What exactly is so wonderful about an insight?

Well, any product, piece of communication or form of entertainment born out of an insight allows me direct access into you head. I no longer have to force myself in, I don't have to tell you that this shirt is the most stylish out there or that this deo will make you more appealing. An insight into you life gives me an entry into it. The minute you see a piece of your life or your memory reflected in it, you open the door. It's like letting an acquaintance in versus a stranger.

An insight is also more memorable. Because once you let your guard down I can have a conversation with you, I no longer have to sell you anything. The salesman is dead. You're looking for a good time. I need to engage you and make you smile. Not just a joke though, 'cause you might not remember the punchline. But create a fleeting moment in time. Create a memory for you.

Thus even if I engage you outside the conventional mediums, I need to create a memory based on an insight. It's like that fete you go to at the girl's school next door, or your first date, or that random trip to nowhere with your friends. I need to create something special which you'll remember fondly, not recall. An insight helps me create an experience that you can consume to create a memory. The product, is simply a byproduct then ;)
